In 2024, we held a 2 talk series on the theme “Creation: what does the Bible say?”

Part 1 – Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

In part 1, we explored the theories about the origin of life and considered whether they stand up to scrutiny. We looked at the complexity of some of the building blocks of life and considered a few of the problems that must be overcome in order for life to come about, which are as yet unexplained by science.

Part 2 – Did God use Evolution?

In part 2, we examined the Bible and looked at what God has told us as we tried to answer the question: does evolution fit with the record God has given us? Rather than using man’s wisdom to critique the theory of evolution, this talk uses a couple of videos to establish what evolution and theistic evolution is and then examines Bible references to determine whether God made use of such processes.
